transnova-RUF GmbH is an internationally active, technologically leading supplier of machinery and systems for the automation of packaging and palletising processes. As a family-run business with around 300 employees in Ansbach, we are looking for an industrial mechanic (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible. As an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), you will lead a team of specialist colleagues. In this role, you will assemble individual parts, sub-assemblies and complete systems in accordance with technical drawings, carry out mechanical adjustments to specialised machinery and assist with the commissioning of modern packaging and palletising systems both in Germany and abroad.
Your tasks
- Assembly of components, subassemblies and systems according to technical drawings
- Setting up and operating machinery as well as carrying out mechanical adjustment work on special-purpose machines
- Connecting components, for example by screwing, gluing or welding
- Identification and resolution of faults in the assembly process through rework or replacement of components
- Support during the commissioning of complex systems and plants
- Support for internal and external acceptance testing
- Close collaboration with the mechanical and electrical colleagues, as well as the design department
Your profile
- Successfully completed apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician or a comparable qualification in mechanical engineering
- Experience in assembly for special-purpose machinery is an advantage
- Ability to read technical drawings and parts lists
- Practical experience in using various joining techniques, for example bonding, screwing and welding
- Safe handling of measuring equipment for quality assurance, for example vernier calipers and micrometers
- Independent, structured and thorough way of working
- Ability to work as part of a team, a sense of responsibility and a willingness to travel – approx. 20 %
