transnova-RUF GmbH is an internationally operating, technologically leading provider of machines and systems for automating packaging and palletising processes. As a 100mily-owned company with around 300 employees in Ansbach, we are looking for a Regional Sales Manager for packaging and palletising machines in the postcode areas 7 and 8, to start as soon as possible.
Your tasks
As a Regional Sales Manager (m/f/d) for packaging machines, you will strategically look after and develop existing customers and actively acquire new ones. You will analyse and assess customer requirements, develop tailor-made system concepts including costing and layout, and manage the sales process from initial contact to order. In doing so, you will collaborate with internal specialist departments and management.
- Customer service, expansion and strategic development of existing customer relationships in your sales region
- Active acquisition of new customers in the food, consumer, pharmaceutical, personal and medical care industries
- Analysis, evaluation and commentary of customer and supplier requirements specifications
- Development of individual, customer-specific plant concepts including technical concept development in AutoCAD and project costing
- Taking ownership of sales planning and managing your projects from initial contact right through to submitting a quote
- Consultation with internal specialist departments (Design, Project Management, Service)
- Market and competitor observation, as well as the derivation of suitable sales strategies
Your profile
- Completed technical degree (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Plant Engineering or comparable) or a completed technical apprenticeship with further training as a technician (m/f/d)
- Several years of experience in the sale of packaging machinery or packaging plants
- Industry knowledge in the food, consumer goods, pharmaceutical, HR, and medical care industries
- A strong, technically oriented sales personality from the mechanical and plant engineering sector.
- Secure handling of MS Office as well as basic knowledge of AutoCAD
- Structured, analytical and conceptual way of working
- High level of initiative, customer focus and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel within the sales region
- Excellent knowledge of German, both spoken and written.
